Introduction

Integrated health management is a key part of the aeronautic industry’s development of the next generation of aircraft. To meet the demands of the business airlines are continually requiring a higher level of aircraft operability. This means lower maintenance costs, improved operational reliability and the greater availability of aircraft. The European Commission co-funded a Framework 6 Integrated Project in 2004 to research this topic: Technologies and Techniques for New Maintenance Concepts (TATEM).

About the event

This seminar will include the final conclusion of the TATEM project, disseminating the considerable results including high level strategy and technical solutions. The first day of the event will feature demonstrations from the Project, giving you a first-hand look at the findings from the technological research. This event will also bring together leaders in this field to share their experiences of implementing an integrated health management approach.

Key speakers include

  • Anton Tams - Senior Vice President, Process Planning and Control GECAS Ltd
  • Jacques Ariel - SIRAT VP Head of Global Innovation Network (GIN) - Systems & Products Architecture & Engineering EADS
  • Brett Jordan - Programme Manager US Air Force Research
