Our library has a world-class collection of digital and printed resources on all areas of engineering and technology. Our archive collects and preserves the records of the IET since its foundation in 1871. Members have access to over 65,000 books and 3,000 journals and can borrow up to three books at any one time which will be posted anywhere in the world (return postage is the responsibility of the recipient). The Library service includes a Virtual Library which provides access to electronic books and journals.
Inspec is one of the world’s largest and most wide ranging bibliographic databases for scientific and technical research containing over 11 million scientific and technical papers. Members of the IET can access this online research tool at highly discounted fees.
