How do I become an IET Academic Affiliate in India?

If you are interested in becoming an Academic Affiliate, please contact the IET’s Bangalore office. Our Academic Account Manager will arrange a meeting with you to discuss in further detail and to better understand your individual requirements.

What are the requirements of becoming an IET Academic Affiliate in India?

Academic Affiliates agree to fund membership for a minimum of 100 students and fund membership for 15% of faculty staff. Additionally, Academic Affiliates are charged an administration fee of INR 1,000.

IET Academic Partners are academic institutions that have IET accredited education programmes. IET accreditation demonstrates the quality and relevance of your programmes to potential students and to employers.

Which organisations are currently IET Academic Affiliates / Partners?

IET Academic Partners launched in the UK in 2009 and there are currently over 50 UK Universities involved in the scheme. The IET Academic Affiliates scheme recently launched in both India and China.
