From this page you are able to view a sample of each of the forms that you will need to complete as part of your submission.
All the Guidance and Policy documents are available to help you complete the forms.
Please note that you must have a visit booked before you begin to complete the submission forms. To book a visit you must complete the visit booking form and send it to the accreditation department. Once you have booked your visit we will send editable versions of the submission forms.
The accreditation submission is broken down into three parts.
Form A part one should be submitted to the IET a minimum of 12 weeks before an accreditation visit.
This form requires general contact information, programmes specifications for all programmes that you would like to put forward for accreditation and also the external examiner reports for all programmes. If you represent a department which has been previously accredited by the IET, you will also need to provide a summary on the progress made against your action plan.

Form A part two is due to be submitted to the IET six weeks before an accreditation visit.
This form requires information on all the accreditation criteria, namely:

Form A part three is also due to be submitted six weeks before an accreditation visit. This form needs to be filled in for each programme and requires information on how the IET’s interpretations of the UK-SPEC learning outcomes are met. There are four versions of this form depending on the level of accreditation that is sought:
