- The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has more than 150,000 members worldwide.
- The IET was formed in March 2006 by the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers (IIE).
- We have active networks of members in 37 countries around the world.
- There are twelve medals and presentations awarded each year. The most prestigious prize the IET can award is the Faraday Medal.
- The IET produces Inspec, the leading English language bibliographic information service for scientific and technical literature.
- The IET organises more than 120 conferences and events every year.
