Presentation event
Culminating in a presentation event on Thursday 2nd July 2009 at the Rockingham Festival, Corby, the recognition and celebration of innovation will place the region on an international stage.
About the Award
Successful finalists from this and other regional innovation awards will be encouraged to enter the IET Innovation Awards 2009.
The aims of the Innovation Awards are:
- To recognise and reward innovative organisations
- To raise the profile and importance of innovation
- To recognise and reward 'successful' innovation
- To provide an indirect method of improving business, by providing a framework to encourage organisations to invest in innovation.
Awards will be presented for innovations across in the fields of engineering, science and technology. The categories in the international innovation awards are a good guide to the areas covered by the awards, although the list is not exclusive.
