IET FUSE scholarships - what are they?
The IET offers a variable number of FUSE (Funding Undergraduates to Study Engineering) scholarships each year.
The IET FUSE scholarships are intended to assist high ability (UK and non-UK) students who would not otherwise be in a position to undertake higher education. Applicants must be about to commence an accredited degree course in the UK, or a course covered under the terms of the mutual accreditation agreement with the IEI in the Republic of Ireland.
IET FUSE scholarships are worth £1,000 per annum and are tenable for the duration of the degree course. They are intended to cover the cost of tuition fees, books and expenses. Successful applicants will receive free IET student membership for the duration of the scholarship.
When considering applications for the IET FUSE scholarships the Scholarships Committee will take into account students' abilities and motivation in addition to their financial circumstances.
