Sir Henry Royce Award
What is it?
Do you know of a Young Engineering or I.T. Professional who has shown excellence in the previous year in his or her work in industry or for the profession? If the answer is 'Yes', then you may wish to submit a nomination for the 2008 Sir Henry Royce Award!
The Sir Henry Royce Medal is awarded to a young engineering or IT professional who has shown excellence in the previous year in their work in industry or for the profession. This award was set up by the Sir Henry Royce Memorial Foundation and the Institution of Engineering and Technology in 1990. The Sir Henry Royce Medal is valued by the Engineering and IT industry and, by wining this prestigious award, the winner will highlight their achievements to future employers.
The winner receives a cash prize of £250, a medal and an inscribed certificate.
Please note that outstanding career achievement, demonstrated over a number of years, is recognised via the Mike Sargeant Award for Young Professionals.
