‘Recognising and Promoting Outstanding Work in the Field of Research and Development in Healthcare Technologies’
The Dennis Hill Award recognises outstanding work in the field of Healthcare Technology. This award is presented in memory of Professor Dennis Hill, a pioneering researcher and practitioner in many areas of endeavour, particularly in relation to anaesthesia and intensive care.
The prize is awarded annually to the student on a taught MSc programme who has, during the past year, submitted the best MSc project dissertation in the general field of Healthcare Technology and cognate subjects (including Biomedical Engineering and Health Informatics). The purpose of the prize is to encourage and reward excellence in the field of study.
Eligibility: The Dennis Hill Award is open to all MSc students in the field of Healthcare Technology and cognate subjects.
Prize: The winning entrant will receive a prize of £150, one year’s membership to the IET and a certificate of recognition.
Deadline: To ensure your participation please send in all nominations by 25 July 2008

Presentation
The Award will be presented at the IET’s Annual Healthcare Technologies Lecture, a great platform upon which to showcase your work to a distinguished audience. This will be held in December 2008 at the IET, Savoy Place, London.
