About the awards
This is your opportunity to introduce an outstanding engineer and his or her work to the world by nominating them for an IET Achievement Award.
The IET’s Achievement Awards recognise the exceptional achievements of those working in the engineering and technology profession, from the well known scientist to the fledgling engineer. Awards are presented in a wide variety of engineering sectors, so, whatever the specialism, our aim is that engineering excellence is properly rewarded.
Who is eligible?
Anyone working in the Science, Engineering and Technology fields may be nominated, regardless of nationality, country of residence or IT membership.
Any individual or organisation may put forward a nomination. Nominators do not need to specify a particular award – this will be selected by the Awards Committee.
How to submit a nomination
Complete the nomination form and send it with the nominee’s CV to awards@theiet.org. The closing date for nominations is Friday, 29 May 2009.
