IET 2007 Ambition and Achievement Awards ceremony
Please find below a selection of photographs and delegate feedback from the 2007 Ambition and Achievement Awards Ceremony, held at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel on 13 November.
The ceremony represented an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of a range of individuals whose outstanding contributions have helped to engineer the world we live in and to acknowledge the talents of some exceptional students and young professionals.
The event was attended by individuals from industry and academia, along with a range of representatives from the sponsors of the 2007 IET Awards; Arup, Shell, IBM, Areva, EDF Energy and Thales.
'I have to admit, the awards ceremony hosted by the IET was one of the Best engineering events I have ever attended my life thus far. Simply impeccable logistical arrangements, outstanding compering, cheerful camaraderie, great food and networking have made the event phenomenally successful. Further, I am so grateful to the IET for the Mike Sargeant Award that has left me energized and inspired to work even harder. Guruprasad Madhavan, State University of New York'
