This exciting two-year refurbishment project will preserve Savoy Place's important heritage, and make a number of improvements to provide a modern home for the IET.
Due to reopen in November 2015, the building will feature a range of services for IET members – in particular the Faraday Centre – which includes a large member lounge, Knowledge Centre, meeting and brainstorming rooms and the Faraday Kitchen.
Due to delays of refurbishment works during the final stages the opening of Savoy Place has been rescheduled.

We’re happy to announce that a roof terrace has now been approved by the IET Trustees, and will be completed in time for the building’s reopening.
The proposed floor plans rationalise the space available, providing better flow within the building’s historical structure.
Members have been given the opportunity to choose up to three room names in Savoy Place.
