Michael Faraday House - How to get there

Directions from Stevenage Railway StationMichael Faraday House is located close to Stevenage railway station, and also only a mile from the nearest junction of the A1(M) motorway.

Directions from Stevenage Railway Station

Leave the station using exit marked "Argyle Way" and "Retail Park", on your right. Do not follow the signs marked "Exit" and "Town Centre". On leaving the station, Michael Faraday House is to the left, on the far side of the Leisure Park car park.

Directions by car

Follow signs for the Leisure Park. The right-hand lane of Gunnels Wood Road in each direction goes under the Six Hills Way roundabout in an underpass. Therefore you should be in the left-hand lane, even when approaching from the south to turn right. In Six Hills Way, take the first left (signposted for the Leisure Park); Michael Faraday House is now on your right and the car park entrance is at the rear.From the A1 south (junction 7) follow the route indicated on the map. From the A1 north (junction 8), head into Stevenage, passing Sainsbury's and the fire station, to turn right at the second roundabout (signposted Industrial Area). Go straight ahead along Gunnels Wood Road at two further roundabouts, before turning left at the third into Six Hills Way.
