Locations: venues and offices
The IET owns city-centre venues in London, Glasgow and Birmingham which are available for hire by corporate and other clients. This page also lists IET offices throughout the world.
IET Venues - London, Glasgow, Birmingham
The IET owns three centrally-located conference and meetings venues in these major UK cities. Each venue features exceptionally well-appointed meeting spaces (including a large lecture theatre) with the latest audio-visual equipment along with all associated facilities.
London
IET London: Savoy Place is an ideal central London location, just a five minute walk from Covent Garden and well served by tube and mainline rail stations. At its meeting in early February 2013, the IET Board of Trustees approved a project to comprehensively refurbish Savoy Place. More information is available in the Savoy Place upgrade web area.

Glasgow
IET Glasgow: Teacher Building is an impressive, purpose-built conference centre in the heart of Glasgow, with 14 well equipped and extremely flexible suites.
Birmingham
IET Birmingham: Austin Court is an excellent meeting venue right in the heart of Birmingham, adjacent to the NIA and the ICC.
Offices
The IET has a number of offices in the UK and world wide. Their aim is to promote the work of the IET around the world as well as providing facilities for members.
Michael Faraday House
Most of the IET's staff are located thirty miles north of London, UK, in Michael Faraday House, Stevenage.
China representative office
In Beijing, near the China World Trade Centre, Chinese engineers are linked to the IET's worldwide knowledge exchange network by the China representative office.
Inspec Asia Pacific office
From Hong Kong, promotion of the IET's Inspec database and facilities and support for members' activities in the region are provided by the Asia Pacific Representative Office.
IET India office
The office, located in Raheja Towers, aims to raise awareness of the IET throughout India
IET USA Inc.
The IET has offices in Edison, New Jersey. Though they act as the IET offices in the USA, their main focus is on promoting the Inspec product.
