Regional Sales Manager

Responsible for proactive customer acquisition and new business development within the EMEA region, with both direct and indirect customers and partners. Exemplary management of the sales cycle with prospects and customers. Working with the Account Development Manager and Sales Operations team to ensure effective sales development from lead generation to closed won solution.

Corporate Account Manager

Account management of IET Armed Forces (AF) and MOD Civil Service; co-ordinating, promoting and selling the benefits of membership, professional registration and other IET products services activities across the MOD nationally.  Resulting in the maximisation of membership recruitment revenue whilst increasing the market penetration through engagement and account management.

HR Administrator (12 month fixed term opportunity, 25 hours per week)

To provide an efficient and timely HR administration service, supporting the HR Business Partners and HR Manager where required.

Learning and Development Administrator (12 month fixed term opportunity, 15 hours per week)

To operate as a member of Learning and Development function (as part of the overall HR team). The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Learning and Development Manager including record keeping, training tracking via the HRIS, coordination of training and learning events, promotion of training and learning in general.

Principal Policy Advisor

To provide expert understanding and analysis on a wide range of engineering policy issues of interest to the IET, including preparing submissions, establishing links between the IET and policy makers, producing technical guidance to members of the public, preparing technical reports for publication and managing policy panels on specialist topics.

Editorial Assistant

To assist in ensuring that journals of responsibility are reviewed and published to agreed standards.

To provide administrative support relating to Quality Audit (internal and external), Registration and Standards Committee and it’s working parties, Appeals and Engineering Council license.

Customer Services Executive (12 month fixed term opportunity)

To work as part of a proactive customer services team providing a professional sales and customer service function to internal and external customers which exceeds expectations at all times. The first point of contact for customers and potential customers. Responsible for proactively managing communications received into the department and converting these communications into sales.

Internal and Stakeholder Communications Manager

To design, implement and oversee effective and efficient communications to IET staff, members and other stakeholders.  With a membership of almost 160,000 engineers and technicians the internal and stakeholder communications manager delivers a range of communications vehicles including emails, newsletters, news stories, town halls, webinars and video messages. The role also includes preparing speeches, articles and presentations for the President, Chief Executive and other senior IET representatives. The post holder will be proactive, organised, with the ability to write English to a very high standard. They will have a thorough knowledge of best-practice internal and stakeholder communications, with the ability to exploit all forms of media, including social media.  

User Experience Architect

To work on creating a compelling web offering for the IET with the goal to increase traffic and user engagement. To achieve this by continually improving the user experience of the various web and other digital assets and channels, using various usability research methods and techniques. Take the lead role in user centred design translating business requirements into wireframes and prototypes guided by HCI best practice. Working with both in-house and external graphic designers to produce functionally and visually compelling websites and applications. Have a good understanding of web analytics and be confident in deriving insight, for both business improvement and to aid the user centred design process. Have a solid understating of editorial and content management systems. Provide ad-hoc content management support for IET web zones as necessary. Work on the digital development roadmap and contribute to improving the quality, appeal and consistency of the IET online offering.
