To assist in the smooth running of the accounts payable department by being responsible for all aspects of accounts payable as per designated suppliers.
To work across a range of briefs in the communications team, supporting key programmed and campaign work, helping to devise media strategies and achieve maximum positive media coverage for the IET. To react quickly and professionally to all media enquiries as well as proactively identifying ‘quick hit’ news releases as opposed to the more long term strategic approach. Work within the Marketing Communications Department as part of the communications team.
The core activity is to provide guidance to Members, others in industry and the general public on matters relating to BS 7671, via telephone, e-mail, or in writing.
Also to act as Secretary and manager to various allocated IEE and/or Joint IEE/BSI committees and the subsidiary Panels. To organize meetings, prepare agendas, take and create minutes, distribute papers, and prepare draft responses to IEC and CENELEC as necessary and carry out the actions as agreed at these meetings.
To organise a variety of events as part of the IET’s events programme, working closely with the Technical & Professional Networks department to ensure smooth transition from programme conception to events logistics. To work within budgets of between c£10K to £400K per event, with the assistance of an Events Assistant.
To sell display advertising space in print and online through a high level of telephone and face to face sales activity. Service, lead and prospect calling from a clearly defined database, with responsibility for winning and increasing business from a given sales territory.
To carry out face to face meetings with clients, potential clients and agencies to present the IET portfolio of recruitment marketing products. A home based field sales role to maximize revenue from recruitment advertisement sales and to increase the IET’s market presence.
Ensuring effective financial & performance management of IET Business Units including business planning, budgets, forecasting, financial control and reporting. Providing financial expertise to business decision-making. Enhancing operational performance by linking the finance and operational management teams. The role initially focuses on the Professional Operations Directorate.
Reporting to the Data Process Manager the post holder will drive the effective targeting, segmentation and analysis of all marketing campaigns. They will set the strategic framework for the way in which the organisation conducts its direct marketing activities.
Reporting to the Marketing Insight and Analysis Manager and working in close liaison with the whole organisation to ensure there is accurate, clean and fit-for-purpose data to drive and support the IET’s strategic goals
Responsible for developing & implementing the strategic plan for delivering a strong, distinctive and competitive product and service offering in each of our key target markets. This will include the adaptation and tailoring of existing products and services as well as the creation of totally new products and services and the associated business case development.
You will lead a number of new or enhanced strategic products and services to market and as such will work closely with all stakeholder areas across the business. This will include strong liaison with all directorates to ensure joined up thinking in our product development activities globally.
