Field Sales Executive South
Job Summary
To carry out face to face meetings with clients, potential clients and agencies to present the IET portfolio of recruitment marketing products. A home based field sales role to maximize revenue from recruitment advertisement sales and to increase the IET’s market presence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities(Not necessarily in priority order)
- To prospect, create and carry out appointments with potential and existing clients and agencies.
- To identify new clients and new markets.
- To present the whole of The IET recruitment portfolio of print, online and other media.
- To ensure customer contacts database and other administrative tools are updated.
- To monitor and prospect from competitive print, online and other media.
- To sell space and assist with the organisation of Recruitment Events.
- To visit trade exhibitions as required.
- To liaise effectively with colleagues and other IET departments.
- To have an active input in to the ongoing promotional activity of the Recruitment Advertisement department.
- To provide accurate annual and monthly business forecasting.
- To achieve sales, client visit and outgoing telephone calls targets.
- To undertake any other duties and projects at the request of the line manager.
- To be familiar with the Health and Safety and Fire policies for the organisation and to attend mandatory updates where required.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with at least 5 passes (C grade and above) to include English and Maths.
- Minimum of 2 years face to face sales experience
- B2B recruitment advertising sales experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and foster long term and productive working relationships with clients.
- Excellent and varied presentation skills.
- Well-organized and good planner.
- IT literate – Microsoft office suite.
- Flexible and adaptable as travelling out of office hours is a requirement of the role.
- Outgoing and confident individual who can communicate comfortably at senior management level.
Desirable
- Graduate calibre
- Completed a formal full sales training programme.
- Recruitment sales experience in Electronics market.
