Head of Marketing - Knowledge Services

To support the Director of Knowledge in providing leadership and professional competence for marketing the Knowledge Services products and services and managing the international marketing team within the IET. To manage and lead a team of in-house marketers, and take responsibility for achieving marketing objectives. To create and drive the Knowledge Directorate marketing strategy. To work closely with the IET’s Business Unit Heads, Communications and the Head of Commercial and Business Development.

Books Commissioning Editor

Commissioning 25-35 book titles a year for academics and research-focused professionals in selected areas of electrical engineering/technology in accordance with the agreed business plans of the Books department, and assisting in the development of the books programme. There is a need to travel both nationally and internationally.

Internal Auditor (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

To provide assurance on the operation of key financial and operational controls and the reliability, accuracy and completeness of financial records within the wider operational risk environment of the IET. To contribute to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the IET’s business processes.

Assistant Features Editor

To write, edit or otherwise prepare for publication articles for Engineering & Technology (E&T) magazine and its associated web sites, on schedule and to budget, with the highest editorial standards.

Communities Relationship Manager Americas

Responsible for delivering the IET Communities strategy through proactive development of existing and new IET Communities in the Americas region. To raise awareness of the IET in the Americas region, by generating and developing relationships at a senior level. To work closely with volunteers, members and clients to inspire, inform and influence the development of communities, opening doors and grasping business development opportunities.

Marketing Campaign Manager (FTC - 6 Months)

Working closely with the Publishing product owners and reporting to the Marketing Manager Publishing, this role will lead on the development of marketing campaigns and projects for allocated product areas using a range of marketing techniques and skill sets to meet agreed objectives. The post holder will be responsible for developing marketing campaign plans and implementing effective campaigns which contribute towards meeting Practitioner Publishing goals and objectives.

A high profile professional role, this position requires an experienced and energetic individual possessing creativity and the ability to influence colleagues.

Sector Head for Built Environment

Articulate and implement the sector strategy aligned with the IET strategy. Lead the built environment sector creating an IET virtual team to provide the focal point for everything the IET is doing and plans to do in the built environment sector.
