Responsible for supporting the AV manager to provide audio visual and production services to all users, providing ideas and technology that inspire great meetings and events at IET London: Savoy Place. To co-ordinate the resources between the two lecture theatres and 19 associated meeting rooms to include fixed and mobile equipment.
Liaise with each client prior to using the venue to ensure a full understanding of their requirements and event objectives. Offer advice and guidance regarding the optimal equipment & support solution to deliver exceptional customer service every time.
To assist the senior duty manager with the mobilisation and all operational functions associated with the day to day management of the building while delivering a 4* service to all users of IET London: Savoy Place. The role encompasses conferencing and banqueting plus hard and soft facilities management responsibilities. Fulfilling the duty manager rotas to ensure appropriate coverage at all times.
The IET manages and develops projects according to Prince 2 and Agile Scrum. Projects range from 6 months to 2 years in length. This role is to manage projects within the IET as directed by the Projects Office Manager, working with project sponsor and stakeholders from around the business, as well as third party suppliers.
To research and produce events within one or more sectors which not only contribute to the sharing of Science, Engineering and Technology knowledge amongst members and the wider engineering community but which are also commercially viable. Also to develop the IET’s events portfolio by generating new topics and by building new relationships with other professional bodies.

An office based role that will employ account management strategies in the delivery of professional registration activities supporting implementation and engagement plans for technician registration.
