Interesting...the work I did was specifically on developing innovation in safety-critical product development, and the conclusion was that you want small organisations, with strong leadership, and engineers who have a holistic view of what they are doing. Just maybe there's a wider application in UK industry!

Well Andy, one can't get anymore holistic than discovering the potential of liquid oxygen as a form of energy storage. And it seems, one can't get a workshop smaller than a Garden Shed to make that discovery.
Boy do I wish that was me who'd made the discovery. |
