Hi i am looking for a wall clock for use in a school that takes its time direct from the internet. I have been asked to source one by the client as they are using an e-registration system that will sit below the clocks which also takes signal from the internet, therefore the times on each cannot be conflicting. Thanks

I think you may have to make one.
The internet uses one of the 'time servers' linked to the national time standard. You can easily pick up a wall clock that uses the same standard using radio. If the server updates it's clock every day, then you really do have to be unlucky to be more than a second out. The only problem I can think off is radio is much faster than the internet using wires. ------------------------- Norman |
