Hi
Any help appreciated here. I have installed two 2m lengths of RGB LED strip in a kitchen and one has failed for approximately a 10cm length about halfway along. Does anyone know what caused this? Is it simply a faulty strip or is is there a problem with the wiring or driver? I do not understand how a small section can fail like this - it is only showing one colour rather than the various colours when the rest of the strip is changed. Many thanks |

Howdy Phil, I suspect that the individual LED's within that section of the strip have failed and this usually occurs as a result of poor heat transfer / disipation from the P/N Junction. What is the location of the failed section? Is this located above the cooker for example?
