Hooded tops are regularly worn by most technically minded teenagers as they are comfortable and practical for most applications. The only downside (apart from being hated by the greying generation) is that many brands easily generate static therefore making them unsuitable for handling semiconductors with. It is estimated that several thousand computer boards handled by teenagers in Britain are destroyed every year by static charges originating from the clothing they wear.
Does anybody know if antistatic hooded tops exist? |
