I have a softstarter that is intermittently stopping functioning as it is saying max number of starts have been reached. I have been informed that the motor hasn't been called for the maximum number of times. Therefore I cannot see what is causing this problem.
Can anyone let me know if they have had this problem before please. |

Not seen this before..
But on the assumption the softstart is operating correctly and your informant is correct (number of starts/hr ?), is the starter circuit stopping and starting again almost immediately. The motor could be freewheeling which may not be noticeable. |
