I have been working as an RF engineer. i have observerd some issues where CSSR is affected due to SD drops. i tried to shift SDCCH from hopping trx to BCCH trx and things got improved.
But i am just curios to learn reasons. the reason which is in my knowledge is that sometimes BCCH radio enviroment gets clean and hopping suffers with interference. Bandwidth of SDCCH is 8 times less then TCH so it is more sensitive to interference. but i think there must be some other reasons. Please share your knowledge on this. thanks. |
