Hello
I have a question for any experts out there. router (no clk) SDH interface -----Asynch OTN network-----router (as before) I think one of the routers should have an ext. PRC clock input, but what I have come across is both routers are taking its clock from the receive interface, ie., from each other via the OTN network. The OTN itself is taking the clock from the receive signal from one router, now the OTN network element does not need a good quality clock. Do you agree this is not good, but what is the actual effect on ethernet frames sent from router to router? will it have any impact? krishan |
