I have a 26" digital TV. From approx 0800hrs to 2300 hrs I cannot receive digital signals from most of the available stations on Freeview. Between 2300 and 0800 the signals are perfect and I get most of the available stations, not too worried about the ones I don't get. Anyone know where my signals go during the daytime hours and will a Freesat set up help?

At the moment your signal strength is probably borderline, a point that Alan also makes. I had exactly the same issue as you describe and you will also find a difference between summer and winter as well.
A Freesat set will help of course. Also if your area is currently receiving both digital and analogue signals, i.e., the analogue has not yet been turned off, then your digital signals are being transmitted at reduced strength. When the analogue is switched off the digitial signal will be boosted. Regards. |
