I had an interesting call today about a "company" doing market research on multi function testers, the researcher was asking me to take part in a meeting in Watford to provide feedback on test equipment.
Apparently they are releasing a new meter very soon.... MFT1910/20/30.... By any chance... She said she could not tell me who the company was but gave the game away with model numbers MFT.... They were/are offering £75 cash to participants, I didn't qualify in the end mainly because I wasn't available for the date(s). I offered some feedback on the crocks being a crock of .... though. I would have liked to go as it happens, test meters could be so much better! Any one else invited? ------------------------- Regards Martyn. Was it Instrotech they're in Watford, but I thought they stocked Fluke. Regards No it was a manufacturer doing market research, I use instrotech for calibration, they seem to stock most decent brands. ------------------------- Regards Martyn. It may have something to do with not wanting to pay you £75 to tell them their instruments are a crock of SH1T as they have read your post? ------------------------- John Peckham http://www.astutetechnicalservices.co.uk/ |

I doubt it John, they were quite persistent but as I said unfortunately I'm too busy, Ido t have an issue with the meters just the crocks/leads ------------------------- Regards Martyn.
