Does anyone know of an IP65 bathroom extractor fan?

Only place this one can be positioned means it will be taking a bit of water from the shower head so I'm after a 12v IP65 fitting and haven't found one so far. If not then no fan for this bathroom!

Picked up a Vent Axia 12v fan today as it's rated IPx7 which i thought was tested to be submerged in water! But the MI state it is not to be placed where water from a shower head will hit it.

Can you accomodate an inline fan instead?

Dosent matter how wet the grille gets then, just as ling as it dosent run down the ducting to the motor.

Unfortunately space is so limited that in-line fan is not possible and hence why it is to be positioned where it is.

Thanks Sandy, at least Xpelair are not as specific as to where to mount the fan as Vent Axia, just doesn't feel right somehow but could be an option.

Had a look at the fan you've already got (vent axia). I'd say that basically it's suitable for install in zone 1 and the fact that it shouldn't be placed where it could be regularly exposed to direct water spray is obvious really and the manufacturer's are just covering themselves. Without knowing exactly where you intend to install the fan I'd say it's more than likely suitable for the location.
