The 17th edition calls for 400/230V power and gives tables for maximum allowed EFLI values at ambient temperature.
We are testing 16th edition installations and the supply voltage is still 415/240V. In addition the testing is performed with live/loaded circuits. Question: Which maximum EFLI values should we record on the test sheets? |

It gives the values at thier permitted operating temperature. The values are given for 230V and take into account the permitted opearting temperature as above. You don't need corrections for the maximum permitted value - only for your actual value for comparison purposes The ones published in the edition of BS 7671 you are testing to. I presume this is an EIC for a legacy installation - if not you should be testing to the current edition anyway OMS ------------------------- Failure is always an option |
