Good evening people.

I was wondering if anyone is aware of any training courses relevant to the work I do. Currently I work on designing, installing and commissioning biomass gasification plants.

I've been looking at city and guilds qualifications to enhance my cv along with the HNC I'm on. I've come across the 2396 design course and others like it. But I feel they are more relevant to domestic and commercial. Compex seems to be a relevant course and I'm looking at doing that as most of our equipment is atex and some at sil 2.
Unfortunately I'm not employed on a formal apprenticeship so I do not get the formal qualifications like NVQ's, hence why I'm looking for something to catch up to the competition.

Any ideas?
