Hi there,
I'm currently studying a BTEC Level 3 Extended Engineering Apprenticeship, in my second year. Last year, I finished the subsidiary course with a Distinction*. I am now starting to look around for potential apprenticeships, but, am slightly unsure where the best places are to look. The places I have been suggested to look on online don't really have what i was looking for. I'm looking for an electrical apprenticeship, preferably working with modern technology, e.g. mobile phones, computing, consoles, or communications. Does anybody have any recommendations on where to look, or companies who may offer a scheme like this? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Many Thanks, Sam Ketteridge |

Have you approached your local FE college? Our local one keeps a list of employers who offer apprenticeships, and will give you a pre-interview and if successful will send your details around (of course this helps the college as the apprentices then go back there on day release for HNC etc).
